(May 19th, 2006 – Hollywood) – In a move that promises to be bold and fun, LAMN JAM SLAM: The Best of the Best has moved to the Gig located at 7302 Melrose Avenue in the heart of Hollywood. The lucky contestants include award-winning Tim Fagan, Max T. and The Newman Project to perform and compete for the most coveted title of Los Angeles Music Networks Top Performer of the year!

Performers have been competing all year at monthly LAMN JAMs. Producers Winnie Jow and Andrea Ortiz say, We have saved the best of the best for last. Judges have included industry experts such as publisher Robert Walls (Four Jays Music), Grammy-nominated songwriter, recording artist and author Harriet Schock and award-winning singer / songwriter / producer / artist developer Angel Diva Musics Jan Linder-Koda.

This year long contest has provided for some wonderful opportunities for the performers such as award winning Tim Fagan who won Esquire songwriting contest and co-wrote the track Deeper with John Mayer. Publisher Robert Walls has pitched music from LAMN performers to hit TV shows like The OC and Grays Anatomy, and the upcoming flick The Devil Wears Prada.

In a series of monthly LAMN Jams, artists from around the country have performed for industry experts in a songwriters paradise for the title of Top Performer. With so many artists yearning to be heard, LAMN Jam has given them this sought-after platform, American-Idol-style with original music. Promoting creativity, craft and artistic growth, LAMN Jam performers receive positive feedback in the areas of lyrics, music and performance.

Artists, professionals and listeners experience the realities of the music industry in real time.
