Answer
· How do I access contact information from the Job Bank?

When you join, please email your resume to jobs@lamn.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it along with the job codes (i.e., 20030231ASST) of any positions for which you would like to apply. LAMN?s Membership Coordinator will keep your resume on file for future reference and will reply to your requests for contact information. From there, it?s up to you to apply for the position(s) yourself in the manner in which the employer(s) has specified. If you have any questions, please let us know. We love success stories and want to help you get the job of your choice.

· When can I begin using job listings?

Your membership is activated upon receipt of payment. Once activated, we mail you Welcome-to-LAMN materials and you can begin using job listings (and other services) immediately.

· In what format should I send LAMN my resume?

E-mail us at jobs@lamn.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and attach your resume as a Word 2000 compatible document (i.e., file extensions should end in .doc, .rtf, or .txt) or paste your resume in the body of the e-mail.

NOTE:
We have problems with documents composed on Macintosh computers. If you use a Mac, please paste your resume into the body of your e-mail.

· I’ve got the contact information for the job, what do I do now?

Once you have received employer contact information, it is your responsibility to contact the employer. LAMN does not contact the employer for you. You draft a personal and persuasive cover letter to the employer and send it in the manner specified along with your resume.

· I’ve sent my resume to the employer, but he/she hasn’t contacted me!

Sometimes employers undergo a lengthy interview and selection process to determine which person is best suited for the position. This may take some time. We encourage you to be patient and remain in contact with LAMN?s Membership Coordinator who can act as a liaison between you and the employer(s) and provide you with any updated information and/or status change in the position.
