We are delighted to announce that Darren Rose will judge talent at the LAMN Jam Music Contest (Round 1) on June 9, 2011 to take place at the 1616 Club in Los Angeles.
About Darren Rose
Originally from Seattle where he began his radio career 11 years ago, Darren Rose joined the 98-7FM team in Los Angeles when the station switched to Alternative Rock in January of 2008. Within a couple years 98-7FM became, and remains, the most listened to Alternative/Modern Rock station in the country (and ultimately the world) with over 2 million listeners tuning in each week. Darren produces, writes, and co-hosts the Music in the Morning show with Kennedy weekdays from 6a-10a. As the station’s go-to interviewer, he has sat down with everyone from rock legends like Nikki Sixx, Slash, and Scott Wieland to younger, upcoming buzz bands like Mumford & Sons, Foster the People, and The Naked & Famous. In addition to his morning duties, Darren is 98-7FM’s Assistant Program Director and plays an integral roll in selecting the music on the station.
